1.
Do things you love
What do you do that you love?
I mean really, really love? Download tunes on
your iPod? Play football with your mates? Spend
hours messaging or texting your friends? The
secret to feeling good is simple. Find out what
you love doing and then do it as much as possible!
2.
Laugh more
Men in white coats have proved
it – laughter is good for you (it relaxes arteries
and boosts blood flow). So why not prescribe
yourself some feel-good medicine today?
3.
Feng shui your life
What are you clinging on
to that’s not working? According to feng shui,
you need to get rid of the old to make room
for the new. So whether it’s clothes you don’t
wear anymore or shoes you’ve worn out: ditch
them!
4. Look good
Let’s be real here – the
better you look, the better you feel. That doesn’t
mean you’ve got to be a supermodel like Kate
Moss or a superstar like David Beckham. It does
mean you should try and be the best possible
you. What about the first thing many people
notice: your skin. Is it clear and radiant?
If not, do something about it! Start by taking
a sneaky look at the new Clearasil range – it’s
bound to work for you.

range!

5.
Eat better
Feeling tired or depressed?
Take a look at your diet! Are you getting enough
vitamin C, zinc, iron, potassium or vitamin
B (especially B12)? If not, you could be cruising
for an emotional bruising. Munch your way to
happiness by snacking on vitamin-C rich fruit
like oranges and grapes. Consume a bit of red
meat (a bit is good for you: loads isn’t!) or,
if you’re a vegetarian, wholegrain cereals,
pulses or leafy green veggies (great for iron).
Nibble on pumpkin seeds (fab for zinc). Or gobble
up lots of bananas for your potassium fix. And
don’t forget to stock up on eggs or diary products
(good source of B12). Happiness starts here!
6.
Try something new
Don’t get stuck in a rut.
Have you ever gone bungee jumping? Jumped out
of an aeroplane? Or headed off white-water rafting?
Life’s for living so do something that makes
you feel alive. If you don’t enjoy high-octane
sports (how do you know, have you tried them?),
why not go somewhere new on holiday or head
somewhere different for an evening out? Life’s
an adventure ride. Hang on tight!
7.
Exercise more
Getting fit isn’t just about
looking fabulous. It’s about feeling fabulous.
That’s because when you exercise you produce
‘feel good’ chemicals called endorphins. The
result? An exercise high! And the feel-good
news doesn’t stop there! Keep up the exercising
and you’ll even change the levels of serotonin
in your brain. And since serotonin helps lift
your mood, improve your sleep and makes you
feel great, this is definitely a Good Thing!
8.
Listen to more music
Want to feel good? Whack
on some of your favourite tunes and take yourself
on a mini feel-good holiday. Passport not necessary!
9.
Help other people feel better
If you want to make yourself
feel good, make someone else feel good. Be there
for a friend who needs you, help out a local
charity, or give some money to a worthy cause…
then get ready to surf that feel-good wave that
floods through you. Go on, you deserve it!
10.
Be yourself
Stop trying to please people:
you’re fabulous just as you are. Real mates
will love you for who you are. Fake friends
will like you… just so long as you conform to
the crowd. Which would you rather? And which
do you think will make you feel really good?
This is your life; live it by your rules!
